Description
The cabin is nestled away about a quarter mile from a state road access on 3 acres. Sitting amid a grassy clearing in the middle of the woods, you will almost believe you've traveled back into a simpler, less hectic time. No other houses are visible from the property. Complete seclusion and privacy is yours. The original structure was built in the 1830's and was named "The Bounty". The Bounty was a colonial farm on the edges of the American frontier. Since then, two other additions were completed. See if you can determine the original section of the house. The home has 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 woodburning stoves, 2 porches and a huge back deck all in over 2000 sq ft of living space. The wood pile is kept stocked so you always have enough wood for a cozy fire. The modern kitchen comes equipped with all appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster) and cooking and eating utensils. There is one queen size bed, 2 full, and 1 twin. Blankets and pillows are provided. All you need to bring is towels and bed linens.
